Information for existing building connections:
- Local Id Card / Local or International Drivers Liscense / Passport (Tenant & Owner)
- Meter Number(s) Or previous tenant name
- registration at chamber of Commerce.
- Copy Of Business License.
- Title Search (Proof of ownership of property)
Additional New Building:
- Inspection from the Public Works Department
Security Deposit:
GEBE requires a deposit and signing of the contract before the service is connected.
The purpose of the deposit is to secure payment to GEBE for electricity consumed. GEBE reserves the right to amend the deposit amounts. GEBE will assess usage based on electrical appliances installed (or to be installed) and will charge a deposit based on the monthly estimated usage. All deposits are refundable, less any balance due for electricity and water consumed, when the related account is closed.
Additional Information for New Properties:
New non-residential properties are subject to the kVA fee. This is a one-time non-refundable charge for connection the new non-residential property to the distribution network. This amount is based on the electrical demand (kVA) mentioned on the inspection form.

- With an estimated maximum demand higher than 13.3 kVa but not exceeding 53.3 kVa, Naf. 2.500 plus Naf. 1.000 for each block of 5 kVa exceeding a demand of 13.3 kVa.
- With an estimated maximum demand higher than 53.3 kVa but not exceeding 100 kVa, Naf. 10.500 plus Naf. 500 for each block of 5 kVa exceeding a demand of 53.3 kVa.
- With an estimated maximum demand higher than 100 kVa but not exceeding 300 kVa, Naf. 15.000 plus Naf. 1.875 for each block of 25 kVa exceeding a demand of 100 kVa.
- With an estimated maximum demand exceeding 300 kVa, Naf. 30.000 plus Naf. 3.000 for each block of 50 kVa exceeding a demand of 300 kVa.
The estimate will be based on the data supplied with the installation card or drawing. If after the connection has been completed, the actual maximum demand exceeds the estimate, the fee concerned can be adapted. The Connection fee entitles the owner of the property to the corresponding maximum.
