Upgrading Back Street Phase 1

The installation of underground utilities, street lights, resurfacing and beautification of Back Street

Phase 1 should be completed by April 30 2007 and will include new high voltage and low voltage lines, new water supply lines and fire hydrants

Utility budget: Naf.1 million.

Phase 2 will start in May 2007 and cover the lower half of Back Street

Red Pond

Installation of a 6” water connection from the Guana Bay water tank to the Red Pond and the addition of a second high voltage line.

At the end of this project there will be enough water and electricity to satisfy the future developments in Guana Bay, Red Pond Estate and Dawn Beach Estate.

These areas are expected to show a dramatic transformation within the next 5 years
