Tae Kwon Do Competition

The athletes of the TAE KWON DO School KING YEN and their instructor Mr. K. Lui were presented a check by NV GEBE Managing Director, William Brooks, to participate and represent St. Marten in the 15^th Puerto Rico’s International Championship “Los Gallitos Olimpicos” that was held in Puerto Rico earlier this month.

The team won eight gold medals, six silver and six bronze. The squad consisted of children ranging in age from six to 14 plus four adult fighters. NV GEBE sponsored the registration fee for the 17 young athletes that participated in the event.

During the presentation, Brooks commended the athletes on their motivation and dedication to the sport. He indicated that NV GEBE was a proud sponsor of youth and sports programs and congratulated the students on their achievements in Puerto Rico.
