GEBE recommends that the Customer contact the GEBE Planning Department at 542-2213 ext 2217 in the planning stages of any residential or commercial building to:

• identify the nearest suitable GEBE facility from which the premises may be served and subsequently locate the service point of attachment to the building;
• determine whether GEBE’s facilities in that area are adequate, and if not arrange for any necessary system upgrade, and determine if a contribution will be required.
• To determine if a contribution is required. The prospective Customer will be advised in writing.

Before a final service agreement can be made between the Customer and GEBE for the connection of the service, GEBE must be in possession of a certificate of inspection issued by the Government Electrical Inspector who approves the electrical installation on the premises to be served.
